Our platform is designed with child safety as a fundamental priority, and we continuously work to maintain the highest standards of protection against CSAE.

This policy outlines our approach to preventing, detecting, and responding to CSAE content and behavior on our platform. As a Canadian company, we adhere to all applicable Canadian laws regarding child protection, including the Criminal Code of Canada and the Canadian Human Rights Act.

Prohibited Content and Behavior

TruHive strictly prohibits any content or behavior that involves:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child pornography in any form
  • Sexualization or sexual exploitation of minors
  • Content that depicts, promotes, or normalizes sexual activity involving minors
  • Grooming behavior targeting minors
  • Human trafficking, particularly of minors
  • Any attempt to use our platform to harm children

Any account or user found to be engaging in such activities will be immediately terminated, reported to the appropriate authorities, and all relevant information will be preserved for law enforcement.

Content Monitoring and Filtering

We utilize advanced technology, including artificial intelligence, to scan and filter content for potential CSAE material. This includes:

  • Image and video scanning using industry-standard hash matching technology
  • Text analysis to detect grooming patterns and inappropriate interactions
  • Real-time content monitoring of public posts and communications

User Reporting Systems

We provide easily accessible reporting tools for users to flag concerning content or behavior related to CSAE. These reports are prioritized and handled with the utmost urgency by our dedicated safety team.

Education and Awareness

We provide resources and guidance to help users, especially younger users, understand online safety best practices and recognize potential threats.

Detection and Response

When potential CSAE content or behavior is identified:

  1. The content is immediately quarantined and removed from the platform
  2. The account is suspended pending investigation
  3. Our specialized safety team conducts a thorough review
  4. Confirmed CSAE cases are reported to the appropriate authorities, including:
    • Local law enforcement
    • The Canadian Centre for Child Protection
    • RCMP's National Child Exploitation Crime Centre
    • Other relevant agencies as appropriate
  5. We preserve all relevant evidence in accordance with legal requirements
  6. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations

  1. Use the "Report" function available on all content and user profiles
  2. Select "Child Safety Concern" from the reporting options
  3. Provide as much detail as possible about the concern
  4. Our safety team will review and act on your report immediately
